Theme Weekends |
|
|
The Pioneer Program is an out-of-camp trip for campers 12 years old and older experienced in backpacking and canoeing. It is a challenging four-day adventure hiking on the Appalachian trail and canoeing on the Delaware river. |
Theme weekends are the ultimate in Camp Onas fun! Counselors in crazy costumes, team spirit, cheers in the dining hall, great decorations, a dance and a movie all make the Weekend a highlight of each session. |

A dingle is the Onas word for a one day canoe trip. Going on a dingle is a great way to learn how to canoe and get ready for a Pioneer trip someday! Campers go on many other trips: Mercer and Fonthill Museums, Peace Valley Nature Center, and the Ringing Rocks glacier field are some of them! |
The High Ropes Challenge Course and Low Ropes Adventure Site are a huge amount of fun. Campers are supported by specially trained staff during an exciting, team-building effort to conquer the elements.
